Ziad Dawd

Ziad Dawd is a Senior Project Engineer for Major Projects at the Toronto Transit Commission (TTC) since December 2017, responsible for delivering capital infrastructure projects across all phases, leading design teams, and ensuring that construction documents meet operational and third-party requirements. Prior to this role, Ziad served as a Construction Engineer at the McNicoll Bus Garage, overseeing construction reports and contractor progress documentation. Ziad also has experience with WSP | MMM Rail Group supporting TTC, focusing on contractor claims and project compliance. Earlier career positions include Structural Project Engineer at AECOM and Assistant Project Manager at Alpeza General Contracting Inc. Ziad holds a Master's degree in Structural Engineering from the University of Manitoba and a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Technology in Iraq.
