Alfons Doerr

Alfons Doerr is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in engineering and project management within the automotive and energy sectors. Since May 2022, Alfons has served as Senior Manager for HV Energy Source & Storage at Torqeedo. Prior to this, Alfons was Department Head of Engineering for Test- & Service Equipment at Robert Bosch Inc from April 2016 to April 2022, overseeing global product development for advanced vehicle workshop technologies. Alfons also held roles in project management and system engineering at Robert Bosch Battery Systems and other prestigious companies, focusing on lithium-ion battery systems and vehicle safety technologies. Alfons began an academic career as a Scientific Associate at Bar-Ilan University and holds a PhD in Physics from Kiel University, alongside a Diploma in Physics from the University of Konstanz.
