Chris Cabrera has a long career in software engineering. In 2003, they began their career as a Software Engineer at Code 3 Software, where they worked alongside first responders to develop a patient care reporting system. In 2011, they joined Minerva TRI as a Lead Software Engineer, where they worked as the lead full stack developer in the consulting development of web applications for various companies in the geosynthetics industry. Chris also led the development of internal applications used in the labs of Minerva TRI’s parent company, Texas Research Institute, and the full software development lifecycle of various products released by Minerva TRI. In 2014, they moved to SMArtX Advisory Solutions as Director of Software Engineering. In 2018, they joined Red Ventures as an Engineering Manager and Senior Software Engineer. Finally, in 2020, they became Director of Engineering and Engineering Manager at Torticity.
Chris Cabrera began their educational journey at John I. Leonard High School from 1998 to 2001. Chris then attended Palm Beach State College from 2010 to 2012, where they earned an Associate of Arts (A.A.) in Mathematics and Computer Science. Finally, they attended Florida State University from 2012 to 2014, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Computer Science.
