Cooper Thacker has worked in various roles, starting as a Media Specialist for BYUSA-Student Leadership Department in 2016. In 2017, Cooper started their own business, Coop Thack Productions LLC, specializing in wedding and corporate videography where they successfully facilitated 25+ corporate films for well-known companies. In 2019, Cooper started working as a CAD/Engineering Design Teaching Assistant for BYU Ira A. Fulton College of Engineering while attending school full-time. From 2020-2021, Cooper worked as a Support Engineering Intern for ATL Technology, LLC, where they designed and built test fixtures and developed prototypes for future medical products. From 2021 to 2023, Cooper worked as a Graduate Research Assistant for BYU Ira A. Fulton College of Engineering where they focused on biomedical voice research. Most recently, Cooper worked as a Junior Mechanical Engineer for Torus starting in 2023.
Cooper Thacker attended Lone Peak High School from 2011 to 2014 and graduated. Cooper then enrolled in Brigham Young University from 2016 to 2021, earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering. Presently, Cooper is studying for their Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering at Brigham Young University from 2021 to 2023.
