Matti Pietilä 👨💻

Matti Pietilä has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Matti currently works as a Senior DevOps Engineer at Tosibox since 2023. Prior to that, they worked at Tampere University from 2019 to 2023 as a Systems Analyst, where they were responsible for building automation and implementing various tools and technologies like Ansible, Docker, and Robot Framework. Before that, they worked as a Software Developer at the University of Tampere in 2018, where they focused on improving software development practices using Linux, Ansible, and Jenkins. Matti also has extensive experience working at Nokia Networks from 1997 to 2016, primarily as an SCM Specialist, where they managed and developed automated continuous integration systems. Additionally, they worked as a Teacher of Information Technology at a Vocational School from 1990 to 1996, where they taught IT subjects and was responsible for computer network and server administration.

Matti Pietilä earned a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Engineering from the Raahe Institute of Computer Engineering, studying from 1986 to 1990. In 2016 to 2017, they participated in the Nokia New Skills Change Trainings for ICT-experts offered by Saranen Consulting Oy.
