Mike Keesee, FAIBD, has a range of experience in leadership roles within the engineering and design industry. From 2002 to present, they have served as the CEO of FDS Engineering Associates, where they manage a team providing engineering and design solutions in the Southeast United States. Additionally, they are the CEO of Keesee Associates, a residential design firm they founded in 1992, specializing in high-volume production builders, remodeling, and custom homes. Mike has also held roles as a board member and secretary at the Greater Orlando Builders Association from 2012 to 2015, and as the National Internal Vice President at the American Institute of Building Design in 2008 and 2009.
Mike Keesee, FAIBD, obtained a Certificate of Completion in Classical Architecture from the Institute of Classical Architecture [ICA/CA] from 2004 to 2008. Prior to that, they studied Engineering and Architecture at Florida Gateway College from 1974 to 1977. In addition to their educational background, Mike Keesee has also achieved various certifications including Certified Aging in Place Specialist - CAPS and Certified Green Professional - CGP from NAHB in 2010. Mike has also obtained the College of Fellows designation from the American Institute of Building Design - Washington Society in August 2014. Mike Keesee is also a Certified Professional Building Designer - CPBD, certified by the National Council of Building Designer Certification (NCBDC).
