Stormie Janzen has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Stormie started their career as a Special Administrative Assistant at the Alabama Attorney General's Office in 1995 and worked there until 1996. Stormie then joined the United States Senate as a Field Representative/Scheduler in 1997 and served in that role until 2006. In this position, they acted as a liaison between the senator and state and local government officials. After leaving the Senate, Stormie joined the American Trucking Associations in 2006 and held various positions, including Director of Executive Communications and Vice President of Membership. In these roles, they were responsible for speechwriting, event scripting, and developing communication materials. Currently, Stormie is the Vice President of Safety and Recruiting at Total Transportation of MS, a position they have held since 2019.

Stormie Janzen attended the University of South Alabama from 1990 to 1994, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Philosophy & English. In 1993, they also enrolled in the University of London (King's College) to study Shakespearean Studies, although the duration of their enrollment was not specified.
