Totalenergies Renewables - Vice President Business Development Americas at TotalEnergies

Martin Rocher has a diverse and extensive work experience in the renewable energy industry. Martin has held various leadership positions in companies such as TotalEnergies, Eren Groupe S.A., Total Solar Latin America, Total Nuevas Energías Chile, TOTAL, and TOTAL Gas & Power.

At TotalEnergies, Martin is currently serving as Vice President of Business Development Americas for TotalEnergies Renewables. Martin is responsible for originating, negotiating, and closing new renewable projects in the Americas.

Prior to joining TotalEnergies, Martin worked at Eren Groupe S.A. as Vice President of Business Development Americas for Total Eren. Martin played a key role in the development and implementation of renewable projects, particularly in the LATAM & Caribbean region.

Martin also served as the Managing Director at Total Solar Latin America, where they were in charge of renewable energy projects in Latin America. Martin led the investment and business development activities in solar and renewables in the region.

Before that, Martin held the position of Country Director at Total Nuevas Energías Chile, a subsidiary of Total Group. Martin was instrumental in negotiating and executing solar power supply agreements with major companies in Chile.

Martin's work experience also includes roles at TOTAL, where they served as a Senior Business Development Manager and Solar Photovoltaic Asset Manager. Martin was responsible for proposing and promoting solar projects in Latin America and managing solar photovoltaic assets.

Additionally, Martin worked at TOTAL Gas & Power as a Liquefied Natural Gas Market Analyst. Martin was responsible for analyzing the LNG market, forecasting prices, and designing a corporate database on LNG infrastructures.

Overall, Martin Rocher has extensive experience in business development, project management, and leadership in the renewable energy and gas industries.

Martin Rocher attended Sciences Po from 2000 to 2002, majoring in Law, Economics, European and international studies. Prior to that, they studied at ESCP Business School from 1998 to 2001, where they obtained a Master's degree in Business.
