Benjamin Récapé

Benjamin Récapé has a wealth of work experience, starting with their current role as COO for toucanBox, a company of SandBox Experience, since 2022. Prior to this, they were the Chief Operating Officer and VP of Operations at toucanBox from 2016-2022. During this time, they were responsible for product sourcing, manufacturing, supply chain and logistics, customer service, operational technology and infrastructure, legal and product compliance, workforce policy, and operational finance. Benjamin also served as a Board Member for toucanBox. From 2009-2016, Benjamin was the Distribution & Logistics Manager and Logistics Project Leader at Daler-Rowney Limited, where they managed a multi-million-pound operating budget and oversaw a team of over 50 employees. Lastly, they were a Strategic Business Consultant at TEA Ergo Inc. from 2008-2009.

Benjamin Récapé completed a Baccalaureat from Lycée Pierre De Fermat in 2003. Benjamin then attended Lycée Saliège from 2003 to 2006, where they completed a Preparation program for entry examination to engineering schools, majoring in physics, mathematics and chemistry. Benjamin proceeded to Ecole Nationale Supérieure en Génie des Systèmes et de l'Innovation (ENSGSI) from 2006 to 2009, where they earned a Master in Innovation, Industrial Organization and Management, focusing on project management, organisation engineering and innovation strategy. Benjamin then attended Polytechnique Montréal from 2008 to 2009, where they obtained a Master’s Degree in Mathematics and Industrial Engineering, focusing on global competition, innovation and competitiveness and lean management. Benjamin also holds a Certified AFAV in “Value Management” from AFAV - Association Française pour l'Analyse de la Valeur.
