Michael DeArmond has over 19 years of experience as an Art Director in sports design. Michael has worked with various sports organizations, such as USA Hockey and USA Wrestling, creating programs, brochures, presentations, infographics, and media kits. Michael also worked as a Graphic Artist and Page Designer for the St. Paul Pioneer Press, where they created maps, charts, illustrations, and other graphics for the newspaper. In addition, they wrote a weekly column reviewing video games. DeArmond served as a College Art Director for the Minnesota Daily, overseeing all art, news, and sports graphics for the newspaper and managing a team of graphic designers. Michael also worked as a Graphic Design Intern for Northwestern Health Sciences University, creating print pieces such as brochures, invitations, posters, and mailers.
Michael DeArmond attended the University of Minnesota from 1997 to 2001, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design. Prior to attending college, they completed their high school education at Green Bay Southwest High School. In addition to their formal education, Michael obtained a certification in "front-end-foundations" from Code School in June 2015.
