Scott Reed

Scott Reed is a seasoned software engineer with extensive experience in designing and developing cloud and mobile-based point of sale systems at TouchSuite since August 2012. Prior roles include contributions to Microsoft's Manageability Services Group at Beyondsoft, where Scott developed networking tools for seamlessly integrating services across geo-distributed data centers. At PLSI, Scott led the technical design for consumer-to-business applications utilizing Java EE and cloud services. Past positions also encompass leadership at MedAssets in software development and data management, as well as roles at Cisco Systems and RB Technologies, focusing on authentication systems and fiber optics product tracking. Scott Reed holds a B.S. in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from the University of Tennessee and an Associate of Science in Computer Science from Pellissippi State Technical Community College.
