John Fam

John Fam has extensive work experience in the field of bariatric surgery and healthcare education. John currently holds multiple roles at Tower Health, including Medical Director of the Weight Loss Surgery & Wellness Center, Bariatric Surgery Division Chief, and Program Director for the Bariatric Surgery Fellowship. John also serves as an Associate Program Director for both the General Surgery Residency Program and the Bariatric Surgery Fellowship. Prior to their current positions, John served as a Bariatric Surgeon and completed a fellowship in Bariatric Surgery at Tower Health. John has also worked as a Fellow at the American Society for Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery, the American College of Surgeons, and the American Board of Obesity Medicine. John's earlier experience includes being a Resident Physician at Loma Linda University Medical Center.

John Fam attended the University of California, Davis from 2001 to 2005, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Neurobiology and Behavior. John then attended Michigan State University from 2008 to 2012, earning a Doctor of Medicine degree (MD) with a focus on Medicine.
