Joshua Levinson

Joshua Levinson has a diverse work experience, starting with their current role as an Actuarial Specialist in Commercial Insurance at Tower Hill Insurance Group since 2016. Before that, they worked at Argo Group International Holdings, Ltd. as a Claims - Admin Specialist from February 2013 to July 2016. In this role, Joshua used the Cognos data tool to develop and analyze reports, track claim cycle times, and provide data to regulatory authorities.

Joshua also had experience as a Teaching Assistant at Carnegie Mellon University from August 2010 to December 2012, where they taught physics recitation sections, planned lessons, and graded assignments. Joshua also interned at Argo Group International Holdings, Ltd. in 2011, developing and analyzing Excel data sets and reports, and learning risk management.

In addition, Joshua had roles at Allegheny College, including Workshop Leader from September 2008 to May 2010, where they assisted students with physics assignments, answered questions, and graded assignments. Joshua also worked as a Research Assistant during a National Science Foundation summer research fellowship in 2009, studying low temperature M.A.S.

Finally, Joshua worked as a Research Assistant at Allegheny College and the Hungary National Lab in 2008, studying the reorientation of liquid crystals. Their responsibilities included data analysis using Excel, Labview, and Kaleidagraph.

From 2007 to 2010, Joshua Levinson attended Allegheny College, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Physics.
