Oliver Bale

Oliver Bale has extensive work experience in the insurance industry. Oliver currently holds the position of Head of Portfolio Performance at Tower Insurance, where they oversee the performance of the company's portfolio. Prior to this, they served as a Senior Portfolio Manager at the same company.

Before joining Tower Insurance, Oliver worked as a Lead Insurance Consultant at Quantium, where they provided consultation services in insurance. Oliver also took a break from their career to travel and explore the world.

Oliver gained valuable experience at Aviva, where they worked as a Pricing Manager for Global Corporate & Specialties. At Zurich Insurance plc, they held several roles, including Senior Pricing Actuary and Pricing Actuary of Financial Lines in the Global Pricing Team. In these positions, they were involved in the development of new management information reporting and pricing for various lines of business.

Earlier in their career, Oliver worked at Zurich North America as a Senior Actuarial Analyst, specializing in reserving, profitability reviews, and planning exercises. Oliver also held positions at Zurich Insurance Company Ltd as a Senior Technical Pricing Analyst and Senior Pricing Analyst.

Oliver started their professional journey as an Actuarial Trainee at Aon Hewitt.

Oliver Bale attended the University of Warwick from 2006 to 2010, earning an MMath degree in Mathematics. Oliver obtained additional certifications, including FCAS from the Casualty Actuarial Society in January 2016, and F.I.A. from the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries in October 2014.
