Louis van Roosendaal

Louis van Roosendaal has extensive experience in trading and finance, currently serving as an EU Equities Market Maker/Trader at Tower Research Capital since August 2013. Prior to this role, Louis worked as a Trader at Virtu Financial from July 2011 to January 2013 and contributed to a research initiative on contingent capital for banks while working part-time at the Sovereign Wealth Fund Research Initiative, where a valuation model for reverse convertible notes was developed using Matlab. Earlier experience includes an internship at UBS within the Investment Banking Department and serving as an Officer in the French Army, where training involved both leadership and extreme conditions. Louis holds degrees in Applied Maths, Programming, and Economics from École Polytechnique and a Master of Science in Operations Research from Columbia Engineering.
