Mshr Mary Beth Manville Sphr

Mary Beth Manville, MSHR, SPHR, SHRM-SCP has had a successful career in human resources. Mary Beth is currently serving as the Human Resources Director for the Town of Apex since January 2018. Prior to that, they worked as the Deputy Director of Human Resources for Wake County from November 2014 to January 2018. Before that, they held the position of Human Resources Director for the Town of Garner from November 2011 to November 2014. Mary Beth began their career as the Human Resources Manager for the Town of Morrisville in May 2003 and held that position until November 2011.

Mary Beth Manville holds a Bachelor's degree in Communication/Psychology from Meredith College. Mary Beth also obtained a Master of Science degree in Human Resource Management from Western Carolina University.

In addition to their formal education, Mary Beth has obtained several certifications related to their field. In 2009, they earned the Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR®) Certification from the HR Certification Institute (HRCI). Mary Beth further enhanced their professional credentials by obtaining the SHRM Senior Certified Professional certification from the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) in 2015.
