Danielle Liwanag

Danielle Liwanag is a dedicated professional with a diverse background in municipal compliance, education, and wellness. Currently serving as the Paid Parking Coordinator for the Town of Canmore since April 2022 and the Owner of Breathwork with Danielle since May 2024, Danielle has previously held roles as an Educational Assistant with Canadian Rockies Public Schools and a Municipal Compliance Officer with the Municipality of Jasper, where enforcement of local bylaws was a primary responsibility. Earlier experience includes working as a Correctional Officer for the Ontario Ministry of the Solicitor General, an Undergraduate Research Assistant at Humber College, and various lifeguarding and instructional positions with the City of Vaughan and Lifeguarding Academy. Danielle holds an Honours Bachelor of Social Science in Criminal Justice from Humber College and is pursuing a Master of Public Safety at Wilfrid Laurier University.
