Jere Morton IV

Jere Morton IV is a dedicated educator and baseball coach with extensive experience in athletic instruction and curriculum support. Since December 2014, Jere has served as the Head Baseball Coach and Teacher at Broughton High School, while also acting as the Lead Baseball Instructor for the Town of Cary. Jere's background includes roles as a Teacher and JV Baseball Coach within the Wake County Public School System, as well as serving as a Behavior Support Teacher managing IEPs and student well-being. Additionally, Jere has held positions as Tournament Director at Impact Baseball and Coach at Dirtbags Baseball, along with a recruitment-focused role at Wake Technical Community College, overseeing pitching staff and student-athlete development. Jere holds a Master of Arts in Teaching from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte, complemented by a Bachelor's degree in Parks, Recreation, and Tourism Management from North Carolina State University.
