Valesa Wells

Valesa Wells is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience in public administration and financial management. Currently serving as the Director of Finance for the Town of Collierville since December 2020, Valesa has previously held roles including Budget Manager for Shelby County Government and Budget Officer for the Town of Collierville. As the founder and President of Your Executive Secretary, LLC, Valesa provides virtual administrative support services tailored to client needs. Earlier career experiences include serving as Director of Administrative Operations at Bethel Church Of God In Christ and Senior Managing Consultant at Public Financial Management. Valesa holds a Master of Public Administration and a Certification in Local Government Management from The University of Memphis, along with a Bachelor's degree in English. Educational accomplishments also include participation in the Leadership Memphis Executive Class of 2008 and a high school diploma. Additionally, Valesa served in the US Navy as a Communication Specialist.
