Scott Crone

Scott Crone serves as a Councillor for Ward 3 in the Town of East Gwillimbury since December 2018, focusing on resident representation, effective governance, and strategic planning. Crone is the President of Lone Oak Consulting, specializing in business development, sales coaching, and brand building since April 2018. Previous roles include Vice President of Underwriting and Distribution and Vice President of Regional Development at The Commonwell Mutual Insurance Group, managing various strategies and initiatives from March 2014 to April 2018. Earlier experience includes roles at DAS Canada as Regional Sales Manager and at Allstate Insurance Company of Canada in multiple roles, culminating in Agency Manager. Crone started a career in public service as Executive Assistant to a Member of Parliament from 1993 to 1997. Crone holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Business Administration from York University.
