Richard Gentile

Richard Gentile currently serves as a Judge in the State of Connecticut Probate Court System since January 2023. Concurrently, Richard has been contributing as Assistant Corporation Counsel for the Town of East Hartford, CT, since 2005. Prior experience includes serving as Counsel at The Hartford from 1997 to 2005, focusing on general representation of middle markets insurance programs, alternative risk programs, and director's and officer's insurance. Richard was also a Principal and Vice President of Government Affairs at Danaher, Tedford, Lagnese and Neal from 1987 to 1997, specializing in corporate, real estate, and estate planning. Richard holds a Doctor of Law (J.D.) from Fordham University School of Law (1981-1984) and an A.B. in History with a focus on Secondary Education from Columbia College, Columbia University (1977-1981).
