Joseph Pitti

Joseph Pitti started their work experience in 2012 as a Watercraft Steward and Steward Personnel Trainer at the Finger Lakes Institute. Joseph was responsible for invasive plant inspections, data analysis, and presentations to neighboring communities. In 2015, they worked as an Invasive Species and Land Management Intern at Genesee Land Trust, where they assisted in land preservation plans and evaluated properties for invasive species. In 2015, they also worked as an Environmental Analyst at the Environmental Lab for Daytona Beach, where they tested water quality and assisted with internal audits. From 2016 to 2018, they were a Graduate Assistant and Graduate Student at SUNY Cortland, focusing on recreational sports. In 2018, they joined Town Sports International as a Program Manager. From 2018 to 2022, they worked at the University of Massachusetts Lowell as an Assistant Director for Club Sports and Business Administration. Currently, they hold the role of Deputy Director of Health & Community Services at the Town of Easton since 2022.

Joseph Pitti's education history begins with their Bachelor's Degree in Conservation Biology, which they obtained from the State University of New York Cortland between 2011 and 2015. Joseph then pursued a Master of Science degree in Management of Recreation & Leisure Services at the same institution from 2016 to 2018.

In 2019, Joseph Pitti enrolled in the University of Massachusetts Lowell to pursue a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Leadership in Higher Education. As of the available information, they are still studying towards this degree.

In addition to their formal education, Joseph Pitti has also obtained several certifications. In July 2016, they completed the Incident Command Systems 100: Introduction to ICS, Incident Command Systems 200: ICS for Single resources and initial action incident, and Incident Command Systems 700: National Incident Management System (NIMS) from FEMA. In February 2016, they obtained the Operations of Wastewater Treatment certification from the Office of Water Programs.
