Kurtis Adams is an experienced finance professional with a diverse background in public and non-profit sectors. Currently serving as Finance Director for the Town of Frederick, Colorado since November 2020, Kurtis manages a team of five and oversees various financial operations, including budgeting and cash management for an $80 million portfolio. Prior to this role, Kurtis was Accounting Manager for the Adams County Government, directing financial activities for multiple departments with $120 million in annual revenues, and served as Finance Director at Northwest Workforce Council, overseeing employment and training programs. Early in the career, Kurtis held positions as Finance Administrator at Victory Church and Senior Accountant at Community Resources & Housing Development Corporation, focusing on accounting functions within non-profit organizations. Kurtis holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and Computer Information Systems from Colorado Christian University.
