John Kyser

John Kyser has a diverse background in various technical and inspection roles, currently serving as a Building Inspector for the Town of Glastonbury, CT since September 2018. Prior experience includes working as a solar installation electrician and inspection technician at solarcrity/TESLA solar from September 2013 to December 2017, and as a Freight Conductor for Connecticut Southern Railroad from April 2011 to September 2012. Earlier in their career, John held the position of E2 Electrician at Friedman Electric, where responsibilities included installation, troubleshooting, and modification of electrical systems across commercial, industrial, and residential environments. John also worked at Colt's Manufacturing Company LLC in research and development, serving as a Test Coordinator, and as an Armed Security Officer for Burns International Security Services. John’s military background includes serving as an Aviation Electronics Technician in the US Navy, focusing on the inspection and maintenance of naval aircraft. John Kyser holds a state high school diploma from East Hartford High School and pursued general studies at the College of the Sequoias.
