Faidra Smith, CP, has extensive experience in public administration and legal support, currently serving as Administration Manager and FOIA Compliance Officer for the Town of Hilton Head Island since April 1996. In this role, Faidra manages various divisions, oversees customer service and special events, performs paralegal duties, monitors legislative actions, and plans town events. Prior to this position, Faidra held the role of Real Estate Paralegal at Jones, Simpson, & Newton, P.A. and worked as an English Teacher at both Thomas Heyward Academy and the Beaufort County School District. Faidra holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in English Language and Literature from Western Kentucky University and a high school diploma from Warren Central High School.
