Ana Maria D. Matos

Ana Maria D. Matos, C.M.C.A, is the Court Administrator for the Kearny Municipal Court. Prior to her judiciary career, Ana Maria worked in the telecommunications industry for 7 years. She began her employment for the Town of Kearny in 2009 and assumed the role of Court Administrator in 2017 after a short hiatus at Moonachie Municipal Court, where she also served as the Court Administrator.

It is Ana Maria’s goal to ensure that the Kearny Municipal court follows the Judiciary Core Values of: Independence,Integrity, Fairness, and Quality Service.

Ana Maria received a Bachelor of Arts degree in sociology from Rutgers University in New Brunswick, NJ. She also earned a certificate in criminology from Rutgers University. In January of 2017, she was appointed by the Supreme Court of New Jersey as a Certified Court Administrator. She has been a lifelong resident of Kearny, and continues to live here with her family.
