Jennifer Fonseca

Jennifer Fonseca is an experienced professional in substance use counseling and mental health services. Currently serving as a Substance Use Counselor at Rutgers University since September 2022 and as Kearny Prevention Coalition Coordinator since October 2021, Jennifer has previously held significant roles such as OFRT Coordinator at the Bergen County Prosecutor's Office and Substance Abuse Counselor at Passaic Alliance. With a diverse background, Jennifer has contributed to various organizations including Bridgeway Rehabilitation Services, Project Hospitality, and Endeavor House, focusing on client assessment, vocational support, and dual recovery strategies. Jennifer is pursuing a Master of Public Health at Rutgers School of Public Health, following a solid educational foundation that includes certifications in substance abuse and a Bachelor's degree in Sociology.
