Tony M. Lopez, DBA, ICMA-CM, CPRE, serves as the Deputy Town Manager for the Town of Miami Lakes, Florida since June 2015, playing a key role in the implementation of Town operational initiatives and policies. In addition, Tony holds the position of Chief Operating Officer at Florida International University and lectures in the School of Education's Recreation and Sports Management program. Tony has held various leadership roles in parks, recreation, and community services in Jacksonville and Miami Lakes, and served as an adjunct professor at Saint Thomas University. Tony holds a Doctorate in Business Administration from Florida International University, along with a Master's degree in Parks and Recreation Management and a Bachelor's degree in Sports Administration.
