Raj Naraine

Raj Naraine is an experienced financial services professional currently serving as the Manager of Financial Services for the Town of New Tecumseth since September 2017, where previous roles included Supervisor of Revenue - Property Tax & Utilities and Supervisor of Accounting Services. Prior to this, Raj Naraine held the position of Senior Accountant at LEGACY Supply Chain Services and served as Accounting Supervisor at Cricket Energy Inc. From June 2010 to September 2014, Raj Naraine worked as a Senior Accountant for The Benjamins Group, and has experience as a Staff Accountant at RRP Partners and as an Accounting Supervisor for the Environmental Protection Agency. Raj Naraine began the accounting career as an External Auditor with PKF Chartered Accountants (Guyana). Educational qualifications include a CPA from the Chartered Professional Accountants of Ontario, CGA from Certified General Accountants of Ontario, a Bachelor's Degree in Applied Accounting from Oxford Brookes University, ACCA from the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (UK), and education from the University of Guyana.
