Shar Johnson, MBA, M.Ed, PE is currently serving as the Town Engineer for the Town of Paradise Valley since February 2023. Previously, Johnson held the position of Senior Civil Engineer at the City of Tempe from August 2018 to February 2023 and was the Engineering Project Manager for the City of Glendale AZ from February 2015 to August 2018. Earlier experience includes roles such as General/Regional Engineer at the Federal Transit Administration and Senior Highway Engineer at URS Corporation. Johnson's career started at the Illinois Department of Transportation as a Transportation Systems Engineer/Civil Engineer III. Educational qualifications include a Master of Education in Curriculum and Instruction from Saint Xavier University, a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Bradley University, and a Master of Business Administration in Management Information Systems from DePaul Driehaus College of Business.
