Evan O'Rourke

Evan O'Rourke has extensive experience in public safety and emergency response roles. Currently serving as a 911 dispatcher at Regional Old Colony Communications Center since July 2021 and as a Special Police Officer and 911 dispatcher for Hanover Police Department since June 2015, Evan is responsible for managing emergency calls and assisting law enforcement officers. In addition to these roles, Evan has worked as a Call Firefighter with Hanover Fire Department since April 2014, providing fire and medical support. With a background in security as an Enhanced Protection Specialist at MSA Security since November 2013, duties include executive protection and crowd control. Evan also assists as a Seasonal Assistant Harbormaster for the Town of Scituate since April 2019, focusing on maritime law enforcement and visitor assistance. Educational credentials include an Associate's degree in Criminal Justice and Corrections from Massasoit Community College and completion of the Plymouth Police Academy Reserve/Intermittent Class.
