Hilary Hobbs has extensive experience in management and partnership development within public service and nonprofit sectors. Currently serving as Assistant to the Town Manager and Management Analyst at the Town of Truckee since October 2016, Hilary combines roles that enhance community engagement and organizational effectiveness. Previous experience includes a tenure at the Golden Gate National Recreation Area from November 2009 to September 2016, where Hilary focused on partnership development and served as Management Analyst. Additional relevant roles include a stint as Business Planning Consultant for the National Park Service and various positions in nonprofit organizations, such as Nonprofit Board Member at the California Association for Environmental and Outdoor Education and Program Coordinator at Sierra Outdoor School. Hilary holds an MBA in Strategic Management and Nonprofit Management from the University of California, Davis and a BA in History and Education from Smith College.
