Gordon Blackwell

Gordon Blackwell, MCSA, currently serves on the Technology Advisory Board for the Town of Wake Forest, NC, focusing on economic development through technological growth. From December 2017, Gordon has held dual roles as a Senior Cloud Solution Architect and Senior IoT Cloud Solution Architect at Microsoft, where responsibilities include relationship building with key stakeholders and leading architectural design sessions. Previously, Gordon served as a Senior Cloud Architect at Allscripts, architecting Azure cloud services for a patient web portal serving over 7 million users. Gordon's experience also includes leadership positions at Itron, Starta Development, InfoStrength, and Eagle Vision Software Technologies, along with memberships on various technology advisory councils. Gordon holds a Bachelor's degree in Computer-Business from Furman University and an MBA from the University of Phoenix.
