Monica S. Chavez

Monica S. Chavez began their work experience in 2008 as an intern at Nadel Phelan, Inc., where they assisted with drafting press releases, performing market research, and working on special projects. Monica S. then moved on to Sherwood Design Engineers, where they served as an accountant from 2008 to 2012, managing various accounting tasks and working closely with senior staff members and clients. In 2013, Monica interned at Sensiba San Filippo LLP, gaining exposure to auditing and participating in client and board meetings. Monica S. also worked as an accountant at Sustainable Watershed Designs during the same year. Monica returned to Sensiba San Filippo LLP in 2014 as an audit associate before transitioning to the role of an accounting manager at Greenough Consulting Group in 2018. Currently, they are employed as a consulting accountant at Towne Advisory Services Corp.

Monica S. Chavez earned their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Global Economics from the University of California, Santa Cruz, which they attended from 2004 to 2008. In 2012, they pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree with a focus on Finance, General at California State University - East Bay, completing it in 2013. Additionally, they obtained a Masters in Accountancy from California State University East Bay, attending from 2013 to 2014.
