Sean Spiller

Sean Spiller is an experienced leader in education and local governance, currently serving as the President of the New Jersey Education Association (NJEA) since September 2013, where Spiller represents over 200,000 teachers and educational support professionals. Additionally, Spiller has held the position of Mayor in the Township of Montclair since July 2012 and previously served as a Third Ward Councilor, focusing on constituent representation in the community. Spiller also has experience as President of the Wayne Education Association. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Arts degree from Rutgers University and a Master of Science degree from Ramapo College of New Jersey.
