Steve Takacs

Steve Takacs is an accomplished executive with extensive experience in the materials handling industry. Currently serving as President & CEO of Toyota Material Handling Australia since August 2007, Steve's leadership has positioned the company as the market leader in Australia. Prior to this role, Steve spent 20 years at Crown Equipment Pty Ltd, holding various positions including General Manager Rentals for Australia and Asia-Pacific and National Sales Manager. Notably, Steve played a key role in negotiating the supply of materials handling equipment for the 2000 Sydney Olympic Games while serving as Major Account Manager. A skilled technician early in their career, Steve's foundational experience includes roles as Workshop Foreman and Field Service Technician. Education was pursued at Hoxton Park - College TAFE in Liverpool, NSW.
