Albertus Mulder

Asst Vice President Business Optimisation at Toyota New Zealand Limited

Albertus Mulder has a diverse work experience that spans over 20 years. Albertus started their career in 2001 as a Rugby Player for Natal Sharks, where they played until 2005. From 2006 to 2010, they played for Manawatu Rugby Union. In 2007, they transitioned to the corporate world and worked as an Accountant for AR Short & Co Accounting Firm until 2011.

After that, Mulder joined Toenec Corporation as a Special Resources team member from 2011 to 2013. In 2014, they worked briefly as an Assistant Accountant for Plumbing World before moving on to Toyota New Zealand Limited. At Toyota, they held various roles such as Treasury and Financial Accountant (2014-2016), Business Planning Team Leader (2017-2018), Business Planning Manager (2018-2019), and Manager of Finance & Planning (2019-2022).

More recently, Mulder served as the Corporate Manager of Finance, Planning, and Sustainability (2022-2024) before being promoted to the position of Assistant Vice President of Business Optimisation, a role they currently hold.

Albertus Mulder received a Bachelor of Business with a major in Accounting from Massey University, where they studied from 2008 to 2011. Albertus then attended Yamasa Japanese Language School from 2011 to 2013, where they obtained a JLPT N3 certification in Japanese Language and Literature.
