Kate Tsui

Kate Tsui is a Manager at Toyota Research Institute, specializing in Human-Robot Interaction Research since October 2016. Previously, Kate held various roles at Yale University from October 2014 to September 2016, including Senior UX Research Scientist and UX Researcher, focusing on signed language acquisition for deaf infants using robotics and designing educational museum exhibits. Prior experience includes a Postdoctoral Associate role at Yale, a Lecturer position on Intelligent Robotics at the same institution, and a Research Assistant role at the University of Massachusetts Lowell, where Kate contributed to multiple projects involving assistive robotics and user interface development.
