Chris Abshire

Chris Abshire is a Principal at Toyota Ventures, focusing on early-stage investments in talented entrepreneurs since 2017. Additionally, Chris serves as the Co-Lead for both the Deep Tech and Mobility Verticals at EVCA, and previously held the position of Executive Director at Startup World Cup. Chris's experience includes roles as an Associate at Fenox Venture Capital, Reservoir Engineer at ConocoPhillips, ACT & SAT Instructor at Kaplan Test Prep, Production Engineer at Devon Energy, and Field Engineer at Berexco LLC. Chris holds a Bachelor of Science in Petroleum Engineering from The University of Kansas.
