William Dempsey

William Dempsey is an experienced accessibility engineer currently working at TPGi since December 2021. Previously, Dempsey served as a digital accessibility specialist at Northeastern University from February 2017 to December 2021 and as a web content coordinator at the Massachusetts Department of Transportation for a short period in 2016. Dempsey began a career in technical communications with roles including senior technical communications specialist at Eze Software Group, web/portal manager at the Boston Water & Sewer Commission, and technical communications specialist at Arthur D. Little. Early career positions included senior production editor at Ziff Davis, LLC. Dempsey holds a Master of Arts in Media Arts from Emerson College and a Bachelor of Arts in English from Boston College, and is a certified professional in web accessibility (CPWA), as well as a contributing member of the International Association of Accessibility Professionals (IAAP).
