Chris Nicholas

Chris Nicholas has extensive work experience in the IT industry. Chris started working at Akins IT, Inc. in 2010 as a Lead Solutions Architect. Chris remained in this role for eight years until 2018. In 2018, they joined Trace3 as a Principal Cloud Solutions Architect - Azure. From there, they have held various positions at Trace3, including Managing Director, Vice President, and currently Senior Vice President of the Cloud Solutions Group. Chris is responsible for leading a team of cloud architects and engineers, primarily focusing on Azure cloud and hybrid architectures. Chris also provides consultations on enterprise cloud adoption frameworks, migration methodologies, and cloud operating models.

Chris Nicholas obtained a Master's degree in Computing and Internet Systems with a specialization in Encryption from King's College London, where they studied from 2000 to 2004. Chris also holds several additional certifications, including Applied Generative AI for Digital Transformation from MIT Professional Education (expected in 2023), Immersion Experience Preferred Facilitator from Microsoft (obtained in 2018), MS Office 365 Administration from Microsoft (obtained in 2014), and VMware vSphere 5 & Operations Management from VMware (obtained in 2013).
