Rohan Patkar

Rohan Patkar has a diverse work experience in the software engineering field. Rohan is currently working as a Principal Software Engineer at TraceLink since October 2022. Prior to that, they worked as a Senior Software Engineer at TraceLink from August 2021 to September 2022.

Before joining TraceLink, Rohan worked at SIEMENS INDUSTRY SOFTWARE (INDIA) PRIVATE LIMITED as an Associate Technical Architect from September 2018 to June 2021. In this role, they served as a Technical Leader, leading In-Platform-Purchase and Provisioning micro-services for the Mindsphere IIOT Platform. Rohan also worked as an associate architect and product owner for in-platform-purchase, where they were responsible for conceptualizing, designing, and implementing new features in marketplace applications hosted on AWS and AZURE Cloud.

Rohan gained experience as a Senior Software Engineer at TomTom from December 2017 to August 2018. Rohan utilized their machine learning expertise to solve navigation and maps problems, including tasks such as counting the number of lanes, finding building footprints, predicting road networks, and understanding road conditions using neural networks and post-processing techniques.

Prior to that, Rohan worked at Zycus as an Associate Architect and Tech Lead. From April 2017 to December 2017, they contributed to the eInvoice and Dynamic Discounting products, focusing on procurement and finance domains. As an Associate Architect, they were involved in designing new solutions, implementing features, optimizing existing modules, and revamping the products. From February 2015 to March 2017, they worked as a Tech Lead, overseeing various tech projects.

Rohan served as a Senior Application Developer at iNautix Technologies from October 2013 to February 2015. In this role, they developed applications for the shared services domain within the BNYM group. Rohan designed and developed a Spring and Hibernate-based entitlement application for authentication and authorization purposes, supporting user-role based hierarchical entitlements.

Prior to iNautix Technologies, Rohan worked as a Senior Application Developer at Serco Global Services AMEAA from January 2013 to September 2013. Rohan contributed to the development of the IResolve CRM application used by Serco's Customer Care users to answer inbound calls and serve SBI's banking customers.

Rohan's early career includes a role as a Software Developer at HSBC Global Technology, India from July 2010 to December 2012. Rohan developed the Multi Channel Desktop (HBUS MCD) application, which allowed customer service representatives to access multiple existing aged applications through single sign-on.

Throughout their career, Rohan has demonstrated expertise in software engineering, machine learning, and application development, with a focus on designing and implementing solutions in various domains.

Rohan Patkar completed their Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Software Engineering from RMCET, attending the institution from 2006 to 2010. Furthermore, they obtained a certification in Deep Learning from Coursera in April 2018.
