Sonia Kung

Sonia Kung is a Production Assistant at Track VFX. Prior to their current position, they worked as a Student Associate at The University of British Columbia's Hong Kong Studies Initiative, where they were responsible for liaising with guest speakers, event participants, and other academic and community partners; designing posters and other promotional materials; offering logistical and technical support during HKSI events; designing and compiling the HKSI monthly newsletters and annual report; and assisting in the development of the HKSI website and the deployment of social media.

Before their work at The University of British Columbia, Sonia Kung was a Sales Associate at The North Face, a VF Company, where they worked with the retail team to provide services to various customers and provided product knowledge to assist customers in making purchase decisions. Sonia also utilized their language abilities to help customers solve problems and answer their questions.

Sonia Kung has also worked as Video Staff at The Ubyssey Publications Society and as a Sales Associate at Roots. From 2014 to 2016, they were a Production Assistant at Chi's Multimedia.

Sonia Kung has a Bachelor of Media Studies from The University of British Columbia, an Associate of Arts - AA from Langara College, and a High School Diploma in Business/Commerce, General from Sacred Heart Canossian College (English Section).
