Igor Galburt has a diverse work experience spanning over 15 years. Igor started their career at IS Design as a Software QA Tester, working from 2006 to 2010. Igor then joined LASTH as a Software QA Engineer, where they tested a web-enabled professional grade photo sharing application and executed test procedures at all stages of the software development life cycle.

In 2011, Igor moved to Salesforce as a QA Engineer, where they tested web and mobile enabled products for Salesforce Cloud applications. Igor conducted functionality, regression, release acceptance, GUI, and usability testing on multiple mobile devices.

After that, Igor joined Lab126 Amazon.com as a QA Engineer, testing Android devices and applications. Igor then moved to Apple as a QA Engineer, where they were responsible for testing inside tools for the online store and wrote test cases for new functionalities.

In 2014, Igor joined MediaTek Inc. as a QA Engineer and executed various types of tests for functional, regression, sanity, performance, and GUI. Igor also installed applications for testing using the Android SDK.

Later, Igor joined Apple again, this time as a Software QA Engineer, testing Apple ID and iForgot for the online store. Igor also wrote test cases and suites for new functionalities and updated regression test suites.

From 2015 to 2022, Igor worked at SmartThings as a Sr. Quality Assurance Engineer. Igor participated in testing IoT and voice integrations and wrote detailed test cases and suites for new functionalities.

Their most recent role was at Rivian, where they worked as a Senior Software Validation Engineer from 2022 to 2023. Igor led end-to-end testing of EV systems integrated with charging systems and tested software and hardware components for various charging products.

Currently, Igor is working as a Firmware Test Engineer at a venture-backed stealth startup, starting in 2023.

Igor Galburt started their education in 2000 and graduated in 2005 with a Bachelor's degree in Economics and Management from Moscow State Forest University. In 2008, they attended Portnov Computer School and completed a program in Quality Assurance Testing, specifically focused on Web Technology. Additionally, Igor pursued further education in Information Technology as a QA Engineer at Ohlone College, though the specific timeline for this education is not provided. In terms of certifications, they obtained the "Amazon Web Services Essential Training" from Lynda.com in July 2017, and the "Learning Linux Command Line" as well as "Programming Foundations: Fundamentals" from LinkedIn in July 2017 and May 2023 respectively.
