Russell Dinkins has had a varied and accomplished career. In 2014, they began working at Princeton University as a Diversity and Inclusion Coordinator at the Office of Career Services, a Program Coordinator at the Office of the Dean of Undergraduate Students, and a Lab Manager at the Princeton Neuroscience Institute. In 2017, they became an Elite Track and Field Athlete at the New York Athletic Club. In 2018, they worked as a GOTV Field Organizer for Working Families, an Education Consultant and College Access Mentoring Program Advisor for Spark Scholars, and an Advisor for The Cannon Project. In 2019, they worked as a Field Assistant for Mathematica and a Program Coordinator for Pioneer Academics. In 2020, they founded and became the Creative Lead of Activism & Action and a Grassroots Activism & Movement Consultant for Saving College Track Teams. In 2021, they became the Executive Director of the Tracksmith Foundation, leading the charge advocating and advancing the sport of track and field as an equitable opportunity provider along lines racial, socioeconomic, and gender.
Russell Dinkins attended Germantown Academy from 2001 to 2005, Wilbraham & Monson Academy from 2005 to 2009, and Princeton University from 2009 to 2014, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Sociology.
