Julie Engel

Julie Engel has worked in a variety of roles in the software industry since 2002. Julie began their career as a Web and Graphic Designer for GE in 2002, followed by roles as a Mathematics Teacher for Malden Public Schools in 2005 and Stoneham Public Schools in 2007. In 2010, they became the Owner and Consultant for Shawn Paul Engel, Inc., where they performed duties for online software companies. From August 2015 to December 2021, they worked as the Director of Data Operations, Project Manager, Product Manager, Implementations Engineer, Client Success Manager, QA, and Product Design for TrackStreet. From May 2015 to April 2019, they worked as a Mobile optimization specialist, product designer, quality assurance specialist, content writer, content editor, technical documentation writer, marketer, and web designer for Mobile1st.

Julie Engel began their educational journey at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, where they earned their Bachelor of Science in Electronic Media, Arts & Communication from 1999 to 2003. Julie then attended Boston University, where they earned their Master of Arts in Teaching in Secondary Education from 2003 to 2004. Finally, they attended Salem State University and earned their Certificate of Advanced Graduate Studies in Educational Leadership from 2009 to 2011.
