Adrian Schauer has a diverse range of work experience in the technology and healthcare industries.

Adrian is currently the CEO of AlayaCare, a vertical software provider in the home healthcare market. Here, they focus on combining remote patient monitoring with operational excellence to improve patient outcomes.

Adrian also holds the role of Corporate Director at TrackTik and Resolver - GRC Solutions. At TrackTik, they were an early investor and now sits on the board, using their experience in enterprise B2B software startups to contribute to the company's success.

Additionally, Adrian is the owner of Schauer Ventures, an angel investing HoldCo where they primarily invest in early-stage technology companies. Adrian is also the Chairman of the Board at ChipCare, a social enterprise focused on point-of-care technology in low-income countries.

Outside of their professional work, Adrian is involved in philanthropy through the Madiro Fund, the first initiative of the Gillian and Adrian Schauer Foundation. The foundation aims to support innovative solutions to the health problems of women and children in sub-Saharan Africa.

Adrian Schauer pursued their education starting from 1986 until 1996 at Selwyn House. Following this, they attended Marianopolis College from 1996 to 1998, where they obtained a DEC in Pure & Applied Science. In 1998, they began their undergraduate studies at Queen's University, specializing in Engineering Physics with an Electrical option, which they completed in 2001 and earned their B.Eng. degree. Additionally, in the same period, they also pursued a master's degree in Engineering at Queen's University, which was completed in 2001. Finally, from 2001 to 2003, Adrian attended the University of Toronto, where they earned their M.A.Sc. degree in Engineering Physics with a focus on Photonics.
