Duncan Barrow

Duncan Barrow has a diverse work experience in the field of business intelligence and data engineering. Duncan started their career at Mitie as a Data Analyst in 2007 and later transitioned to the role of Business Intelligence Developer in 2008. Duncan worked with Mitie until 2013, during which they contributed to the development and improvement of business intelligence systems.

In 2014, Duncan joined Ofsted as a Senior SQL/ETL Developer on a 3-month contract that was extended. In this role, they focused on enhancing old processes, creating SSIS packages, and developing SSRS reports. Duncan also played a significant role in training and mentoring staff members.

In 2014, Duncan worked with RAC on a 6-month contract as a CRM Capability and BI Consultant. Their responsibilities included designing and implementing a marketing data warehouse for the B2B division. Duncan was also responsible for producing technical and non-technical documentation for the project.

From 2015 to 2018, Duncan worked at agileDSS as a Conseiller Senior BI. Duncan provided senior-level advisory in business intelligence and made valuable contributions to the organization.

Most recently, in 2018, Duncan joined TrackTik as a BI Developer, where they are currently employed.

Duncan Barrow obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics from the University of Bristol, which they pursued from 2001 to 2004. In addition to their formal education, they have also obtained several certifications in various fields. Duncan became a Tableau Analyst, Tableau Author, Tableau Consumer, Tableau Data Scientist, Tableau Designer, and Tableau Developer from Tableau Software in November 2019. Duncan also obtained the certification for "Exam 475: Designing and Implementing Big Data Analytics Solutions" from Microsoft in October 2017. Duncan became a SCRUM Master through Scrum Alliance in January 2016 and acquired the certification for "MCTS: SQL Server 2008 - BI Development and Maintenance" from Microsoft in December 2011. Most recently, they obtained the Tableau Desktop Certified Associate certification from Tableau Software in October 2020.
