Farah Hamouda has been working in the engineering industry since 2014. Farah began their career as a Research Assistant at The Nonwovens Institute, where they managed polymer lab equipment, chemical inventory, waste disposal and lab safety training. Farah also executed independent research on printed conductive graphene patterns. In 2016, Farah became an Engineering Intern at Lessray, conducting software bench testing towards design, debugging and verification of radiation reducing image enhancement technology for use during fluoroscopic surgical procedures. Farah also conducted research design and data analysis of a cadaver validation study. In 2017, Farah joined TrackX Technology, LLC as a Project Manager and Test Engineer. In this role, they developed software test development, execution and documentation towards medical device FDA regulatory compliance. Farah also developed a calibration algorithm towards accurate surgical instrument tracking and supported medical device within the operating room environment.
Farah Hamouda obtained a Dual Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Textile Engineering and Chemical Engineering from North Carolina State University between 2013 and 2018.
