Michael Wuennemann

Michael Wuennemann has a diverse work experience in the energy industry. Michael started their career at ABB as a Process/Project Engineer from 1995 to 1999. Michael then joined Alstom Power, where they worked as a Project Engineer, Technical Manager, and Project Manager from 1999 to 2004. After that, they joined MAN Turbo as Department Head of Systems Engineering Compressors from 2004 to 2010. Following this, they worked at Tractebel as Department Head of Power Plant Engineering from 2010 to 2014. Michael then served as Executive Director of the Energy Division at Tractebel from 2015 to 2018. From 2019 to 2022, they held the position of General Manager in the Energy Department at Tractebel. Currently, they are serving as the Head of Gas-to-X in the Business Area Global Power at Tractebel.

Michael Wuennemann attended the University of Duisburg-Essen from 1989 to 1995, earning a Dipl.-Ing. degree in Maschinenbau (Mechanical Engineering).
